Several of us Twitterers in the Ealing area are holding a whisky tweetup. If you fancy sampling and imbibing a variety of single malts from across the Scottish regions, comment to this post with your twitter username and the bottle (single malt please) you’re bringing so we get a nice selection. One other thing – you need to bring a poem … of your choice … poems and whisky go together.
Details:
18th April at 7.30pm
Chez moi (address on request)
In the mix so far:
@richward
@Wardybits
@iampauldixon
@paulpambakian
@johnpvdixon
This could become a regular event. Join us for the inaugural one!

Me and Pambakian will bring the most obscure whiskey we can find – as I don’t know anything about whiskey I have not idea what this will be.
“What if the Hokey Cokey really IS what it’s all about?”
Then sample the Scottish water, I’ll cover an Islay Malt
Rich
Paul, first thing to learn about whisky is there’s no ‘e’ in it … unless you’re talking about that Irish stuff or bourbon.
Scottish single malt please.
I will do a quick raid on my dad’s collection and see if I can find anything good….
Poem hmmmmmmmmmm Limericks!?
Limericks will be accepted
A successful and very enjoyable whisky evening! Seven of us tasted a range of single malts including Macallan, Glenmorangie, Glenlivet, Cragganmore, Balvenie, Ardbeg, Laphroaig and a cask strength Caol Ila!
Watch this space for the next one!
